Antique Japanese shakudo fuchikashira signed "Otsuryuken Kaneyuki". Kaneyuki was born 1740 and died 1776. He was a second son of Hamano Shozui. After his father death he bacame a second master of Hamano School.
This set is made of shakudo with gilded parts. Workmenship is a true masterpiece.
Similar piece (with crane lookin to the other siede) has been sold as part of a lot 911 on Japanese And Korean Works Of Art auction by Sotheby's on 14 July 2005.
