Fuchikashira signed "Rinsendo" with NBTHK Hozon Tosogu. Most famous craftsman using this go was Rinsendo Mitsumasa born in the 1721. However I have checked this signature against Mitsumasa piece I own and other available sources and it is written in a different way. Therefore I suspect that this piece could have been made by his adopted son who signed "Rinsendo Mitsuo". Unfortunately I was not able to find any examples of his signature for comparison. Therefore it reacquires further study to figure out who exactly made it.
When looking at this piece up close detail is not great. However from around 45 cm it crates a stunning picture! It is really a beautiful item.
