Kozuka attributed to Gotō Teijō with NBTHK Hozon Tosogu. He was a 9th master of mainline Gotō family. He was a son of Gotō Kenjō born in 1603. In 1636 he took a role of a head of mainline Gotō family. He died in 1673 at the age of 71.

Kozuka decorated with dragon bones and Hossu, short staff used by Buddhist priests. Unfortunately I am not aware of meaning behind this combination of symbols. However it seems that in China fossils found in the ground were called dragon bones. So there might be some connection there.

Made of shakudo with nanako ground and gold iroe.

Size: 97 mm x 15 mm x 5 mm
