Shakudo tsuba signed "Tsuneshige". Unfortunately I was not able to find more about that craftsman.
Tsuba is made of shakudo with both nanako and migaki-ji (polished surface). With gold, silver, copper inlay and gold iroe. Tsuba is unusually heavy for its size, therefore I suspect there is a very high gold content in this shakudo alloy.
Decorated with a motif of Minamoto Yoshitsune at Mure Takamatsu.
Size: 73 mm x 70 mm x 4,5 mm
Mede in Edo period.
