Iron Mito School tsuba with NBTHK Hozon Tosogu. Decorated with a poet Li Bai and a distant view. Li bai himself is in a foreground while the waterfall with birds and mountains are far back. This creates a beautiful scenery. Especially with small but well carved birds flying around the waterfall.
On the reverse there is a distant landscape and moon over the mountain.
Made in late edo period.
