Shakudo tsuba attributed to Owari Kinko School with NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Tosogu. Certification makes an Owari Kinko attribution, however because there exist rather similar work by Owari Kozenji School, there are reasons to consider that this tsuba was also made by Kozenji School from Owari province.
Decorated with waves with gold droplets and kiri mon. On the sides beautifully made patterns, possibly textile.
Made of shakudo with gold and copper inlay and gold iroe. Textile patterns are made with hira zogan (flat inlay) of gold and copper. Water droplets and made of gold inlay. Gold on kiri mon is made with iroe.
