Tanto tsuka with jabara ito maki. Iron fuchikashira with gold nunome zogan inlay, looks like Edo Higo School. Gilded shishi menuki in Goto School style. Parts of samegawa are high quality, some other parts are from lower quality pachwork.
This is an old tsuka with many signs of age. Ito is covered in dirt and torn in some places, pieces of samegawa are missing, inlay is missing on fuchikashira and there is some rust.
