Brass tsuba signed "Yoshinobu" with Kao. His full name is Umetada Minamoto Yoshinobu and was active around 1650-1675. This is a second generation of craftsman using this name, his father and teacher was a first generation Umetada Yoshinobu. According to Haynes he also carved horimono on blades and made simple iron tsuba. There are some great carved yanone extant that are said to be works of Umetada Yoshinobu.
