Hirasankaku yari signed „Kunisuke”. There were many smiths that signed their work with the same kanji. In my opinion this piece was made in late Muromachi period (16th century). There are some examples of “Kunisuke” works from this period in “Nihon Token Jiten” by Matsuo Fujishiro however I can’t guarantee that it is the same craftsman that made this yari.
It has mokume hada and suguha hamon with nioi and ko-nie. Hamon has many activities, for example niju-ba and sunagashi. There is a horimono with two parallel lines (Goma-hashi) with traces of red lacquer inside.
Yari is in good polish with some scratches and a bit of rust near the tip.
