Iron Kyo-Shoami School tsuba decorated with bird sitting on a bamboo above a stream. It looks like it is a decorative bird that got away from the cage.
Made of iron with droplets inlaid with silver. Other elements decorated with gold nunome-zogan.
Made in Edo period.
