Iron sukashi daisho tsuba set decorated with a nightingale on a plum tree. It is a design after Hayashi from Higo School. 

I do not know the age of those tsuba. I think that small one has some age to it, might be late edo. Big one is much younger, might bo 30 or possibly 50 years? They were both polished and possibly lacquered some time ago. 

They are both made with traditional methods, the rest is a bit of mystery.
