Iron tsuba decorated with a dragon. This tsuba was made in the 19th century and it is made in a Jakuhsi School style. However there are some differences compared to traditional Jakushi work, like dragon carved in a high relief. That is why I think it was made by a different craftsman taking from Jakushi tradition. There exist rather similar but much higher quality tsuba made by Harada Ichirin.
Made of iron with silver inlay and gold nunome zogan inlay.
Made in late Edo period.
