Iron tsuba decorated with San-sei. They were three sages: Confucian Su Shi (So Shoku), Taoist Huang Tingjian (Ko-Teikan) and Buddhist monk Foyin (Futsuin). Together they tasted vinegar and it caused all of them to realize the same reality. 

Tsuba made of iron with copper inlay decorated with silver and gold iroe. There is also gold nunome-zogan inlay. 

There are some condition issues so please look at the photos provided. Including delamination of layers visible inside kozuka ana. 

Made in edo period.
