Iron tsuba signed "Iwai Yoshimichi". He was a armour and sword fittings maker at the end of edo period. This tsuba is made in the Nobuie style. Very well forged with a melted surface finish.
Decorated with amida yasurime. Sukashi are most probably snowflakes? I am sorry but I am not sure.
Made in late edo period.
Size: 85 mm x 80 mm x 3 mm
