Iron tsuba signed "Masamitsu". This signature is very strange because Kanji are very far from each other. Might be a Buschu Ito School work and Masamitsu name would be consistent with that.
Decorated with interpretation of the Shippo (seven treasures) pattern. It is one of the traditional Japanese patterns.
Made in late edo period.
