Iron tsuba with crows sitting on a dead tree in a winter moonlight. This tsuba is certified by Toen Sha, organisation "founded and operated by Murakami Kosuke sensei, a student of Hon'ami Kozon, and once a member of NBTHK Juyo Shinsa" source: www.shibuiswords.com
Toen Sha attributed this tsuba to "Nara Toshimasa". He was active around 1700, but not much is know about him.
Tsuba is made of iron. Moon made with silver nunome-zogan inlay. Tree brunches and trunk made of shibuichi inlaid in high relief. Vines made of solid gold inlay. Crows made of shakudo inlaid in high relief with solid gold eyes and legs.
