100 Kozuka The Claude Thuault Collection is a very useful source of information regarding Japanese arts. There are long descriptions in English of each kozuka. They are divided in to two sections. Firsts on is about an object, makers, materials and techniques used.
Second part is about a meaning of what is pictured on the kozuka or thoughts of an author. All of those are very important for understanding Japanese art. There is theme index in the beginning. So you can find kozuka with "cherry blossoms" and learn what they could mean for example when pictures together with gourd.
Pictures are not great quality but this books value comes from good descriptions of each item.
Book in English and Japanese.
