Set of kogai, kozuka and fuchikashira decorated with Amako/Amago clan kamon. Made of shakudo with nanako ground. This items were mounted on a sword, that is why there are visible signs of wear, especially on kozuka and kogai.
All items are made of shakudo and decorated with gold foil, thick foil has also beed applied to decorate kamons. That is why they appear to be solid gold.
Only back of kozuka is made of copper, that is why it has a slightly red colour where gold wear off. This red colour is hard to see, it comes out a lot in flash photography that was used to make pictures of this set.
Made in edo period.
This set comes in old hakogaki, unfortunately it was not made for this particular items. I can place them in new kiri box if necessary.
