Shakudo nanako fuchikashira signed "Oguma Tsunetoshi" with NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Tosogu. According to Fukushi Shigeo this is the same artist as Oguma Toshitsune. Tsunetoshi/Toshitsune came from Sendai and studied under Tanaka Kiyotoshi. The same goes for his son Toshioki. It seems like Tsunetoshi/Toshitsune was incredibly versed in styles of different Schools. This fuchikashira is made in Ishiguro School style, there exists a menuki in Yokoya School style and obviously items in Toryusai Tanaka School style. All excellently made, including nanako!
