Shakudo tsuba decorated with horses crossing the river. With NBTHK Hozon Tosogu, attributed to Hamano School.
Made of shakudo with arashi-ji surface. In this case tsuba was first polished and then arashi-ji (rough surface) finish was added.
Made in late Edo period.
