Tanto in copper fittings koshirae.

Very interesting koshirae decorated with marine theme fittings. Menuki and kashira carved in shape of octopus. On menuki eyes of the octopus made with shakudo inlay. Fuchi decorated with waves. Yasuchika style tsuba decorated with bugs. Koiguchi is actually remade iron fuchi with inlay. Saya most probably covered in cloth and lacquered. Lacquered jabara style tsukamaki made with a single thread.

Blade on one side is shinogi zukuri and other hira zukuri. Well visible hamon. I am sorry but I do not know when the blade was made. Possibly late edo period. There are many scratches on the blade.
